Au revoir
Thank you, all my followers and visitors, for going on this blog journey with me. It's time for me to bid you all ado ... as I turn my time, energy and passions to the "next big thing" or two or three.
I plan to keep this blog "alive" in cyberspace and not delete it, but this will be my last post.
I also plan to periodically visit other blogs that focus on Paris and France, because the City of Light and my experiences there will always be near and dear to my heart, as well as all the wonderful things I've learned from my friends here at Five Months Until Paris.
Until we meet again ...
Life itself is the most wonderful fairy tale
This wonderful fairytale dress is something I got from Chicwish, the blazer is from H&M, the platforms are from Jessica Simpson and the bag is from Fashionzenvintage.

Message in a bottle
Hi, how are you guys? I am doing great, only a bit busy with searching for a new internship for 9 weeks in total starting the 14th of November. If my Dutch readers got some tips for a nice internship in the styling/ design field, please let me know!
This is my look of the day: the pullover is from Theorphansarms, the vintage velvet docs I was so happy to find on Ebay, the shorts are from Newyorker and the heart bag is from Baggin.me. Enjoy your day!!

Rainbow
Hello [insert fashion specific portmanteau]. I was at the fabric stock market yesterday sourcing fabric for clients in the Middle East. There are literally hundreds of supplier storefronts that have dozens of varying fabrics that differ by weave/weight/knit size etc. How pretty do the candy-colored swatches look? Like sartorial skittles. Makes me want to design swimwear or summer dresses!

In Front of The Louvre, Part Deux
I've repeated this scene more than once on my cards; maybe it's because I love it so. It's based on a photo I took in front of the Louvre last September.
The Louvre is so immense and filled with so many treasures, it would be difficult to take them all in on one afternoon's visit to the Paris museum. And since I am in Pennsylvania and the Louvre is thousands of miles away, I keep up with the museum's exhibits on Facebook ... and you can, too.
You can follow the Musee du Louvre in French or English - or both.

For the [Wo]man who has everything
Ever wondered what to get for the friend who has everything? Maybe for the pal who is a The Wind in the Willows fan? Put down that vintage Birkin and look this way! [Vegetarians and PETA members need not apply]. A friend of mine brought back the most unique souvenir from the Philippines. A toad handbag. Pretty self-explanatory, really. A hollowed out toad with an inner lining, zip added across its arms, and long brown straps. I'm still not sure if this qualifies as fashion but I thought it was so funny I had to share it.
If I had to choose, I still prefer [faux] snakeskin. But I'm pretty sure a real toad skin anything is not going to offend anyone morally. Just maybe aesthetically.

Chapeau!
Yes, I am wearing a hat again! Hats are definitely my favourite accessoiry, I think I have about 30 different hats now! Yes, you can call it a true hat collection :) But they really make the outfit, don't you think? This one is from H&M, they have got some great hats in their fall collection!
The top is from Sheinside, the jeans is from ASOS, the satchel bag is from Dressrepublic and the boots are from Jeffrey Campbell.
